What is a special request?

A special request is a comment you leave for the hotel when making a booking — for example: bed type, floor preference, extra pillows, check-in time, etc.

⚠️ Special requests are not guaranteed — hotels fulfill them based on availability and at their own discretion. Some services (early check-in, late check-out, etc.) may incur additional charges.

Where to find this field

During the booking process, look for the "Special request" section. It contains two fields:

  • Check-in time — select the guest's estimated arrival time from the dropdown

  • Comment — write your request for the hotel (up to 1000 characters, in English or the hotel's local language)

Most common requests

Room and location:

  • High floor / Low floor

  • Away from elevator

Bed and comfort:

  • King bed / Twin beds

  • Extra bed (specify for whom: adult or child + age)

  • Baby cot / crib

  • Extra pillows or blankets

Check-in and check-out:

  • Early check-in

  • Late check-out

Other:

  • Parking

  • Airport transfer

  • Restaurant table reservation

How requests are processed

  1. You submit a request during booking

  2. Travel Point support agents forward your request to the hotel

  3. Once the hotel responds, we'll let you know whether your request can be fulfilled and if there are any extra charges

Response time: typically within 48 hours; during peak season — up to 7 days.
