TICKER update: new assistant for fare rules

Another step toward making fare rule handling in GDS simpler.

We know your work in GDS often involves checking fare rules — it’s an essential part of your daily routine.

That’s why we’ve added a new feature to TICKER to help you work with fare rules faster and more conveniently — for now, in Amadeus (version 2.0.13).

🔍 How it works

When you open fare rules, a TICKER icon appears next to them.

By clicking it, you launch the automatic scanning process:

  • TICKER analyzes all fare rules;

  • generates a short summary with key details;

  • displays the main conditions, restrictions, and exceptions.

💬 Your questions — TICKER’s answers

You can also ask up to 10 follow-up questions about these rules. For example:

“Is a date change allowed after departure?”

“What is the no-show policy?”

TICKER will analyze the rule text and provide a clear answer based on the information found.

🧪 We’ve already tested it with several agents

Before release, we tested the feature with several of our agents.

Feedback showed it saves up to 38% of the time usually spent analyzing rules.

This update is our step toward reducing routine and helping you focus on what really matters — your clients and sales.

Other improvements in this version

  • the average delay time is now available in Sabre and Galileo;

  • fixed error display in the terminal;

  • resolved the issue with displaying Secure PNR in Amadeus — it is now shown correctly in the terminal;

  • updated fonts and optimized TICKER performance for greater stability.
