Improved navigation elements in Ticker

Updated this week

We received a lot of feedback that the terminal-opening icon sometimes behaves unexpectedly: it covers important fields, jumps around the screen, or gets in the way. We heard you — and improved it in version 2.0.9.

We analyzed the most common icon placements and completely reworked how it interacts with the interface.

What’s changed:

  • When you drag the icon — an animated hint now appears, showing that it can be moved.

  • Next, a border appears to indicate which edge the icon will snap to.

  • As soon as you release it — the icon neatly sticks to the nearest screen edge.

What else has been improved in version 2.0.9?

  • Added a check when working with bookings in Galileo — if the booking is already open in another terminal, Ticker now correctly shows the appropriate message.

  • Fixed a bug where the terminal would block — now the reason is clearly indicated (e.g., inactive agent, blocked agency, or technical maintenance).

  • In Amadeus, the issue with segment conversion disappearing while using the keyboard has been resolved.

  • Improved the animation for executing commands in the terminal.

  • Fixed a bug where it was difficult to hover and copy data related to average delay time.

  • In segment conversion, we’ve improved the animation and fixed language detection — now it’s selected based on the browser’s language.

  • In Sabre, search now works within available commands — bug fixed.

  • Improved logic for segment conversion and command processing — several flow errors fixed.

  • Optimized the average delay time in Ticker operations.

  • Fixed issues with informational calculations.

  • Improved data synchronization between Ticker and TravelPoint.

  • Enhanced blank-handling logic in Galileo and Sabre.

  • Implemented technical upgrades in background operations to improve system stability.

💚 Thank you for using Ticker!

We continue to improve the product based on your feedback and real-life workflows.
